Queer Armenian artist Ani shares her journey of metamorphosis through her soulful set of original music. Her warm, powerful voice is playful in melodic delivery as she sings us through love and divorce, the fear and joy that accompany starting over, and the courage to find one’s voice amidst traditional cultural expectations. With jazz, funk, and pop inspiration her songs explore the ups and downs that accompany self-discovery and celebrate standing in one’s power.

Offstage, Ani leads a certified trauma-informed life coaching practice that guides individuals through identifying and healing from intergenerational trauma. She is passionate about helping people reconnect with the authentic self that is just waiting to be discovered under layers of social conditioning, adversity, and limiting beliefs. A Master of Social Work, she is an advocate for the Armenian community, having organized numerous political events and fundraisers to raise awareness about the conflict indigenous Armenians in Artsakh currently face.
