Kim Lewis is a New York-based flutist with immense passion as a performer and teacher. Kim has received first place in the New Jersey Flute Society Concerto Competition, as well as the Central Ohio Flute Association Competition. She has performed as a soloist with the Central NJ Symphony and The Chelsea Symphony in NYC. Chamber ensembles that Kim has collaborated with have received honors in the Lillian Fuchs Chamber Competition and the Douglas Wayland Chamber Competition. Kim is a founding member of NU, a NYC based woodwind quintet that celebrates and expands the wind quintet by reimagining repertoire, performance, and the classical music culture. As a freelance musician in NYC, Kim frequently performs with the Chelsea Symphony. Kim holds a bachelor’s degree from Bowling Green State University, where she studied with Conor Nelson, and a master’s degree from the Manhattan School of Music, where she studied with Linda Chesis.

Justin Vance is a New York City-based woodwind artist known for his versatility across multiple instruments and genres. In May 2025, he made his solo debut with The Chelsea Symphony, performing the newly orchestrated version of Alyssa Morris’s 27-72 for oboe and chamber orchestra—a commission he and the orchestra spearheaded, marking the world premiere of this orchestration. An in-demand performer, Justin has played in over 50 Broadway and Off-Broadway productions, serving as chairholder for Company, Bad Cinderella, and The Notebook on Broadway, as well as Kid Victory, The Beast in the Jungle, and Cats: The Jellicle Ball Off-Broadway. He has also been a regular member of the Christmas Spectacular orchestra at Radio City Music Hall for over a decade. Outside of theatre, Justin is an active orchestral musician, having performed with Ensemble Échappé, the New York Chamber Players, The Chelsea Symphony, and the American Modern Ensemble. His recording credits include numerous cast albums, chamber music projects, singer albums, and film scores. Beyond performing, Justin is passionate about expanding the woodwind repertoire and collaborating on new works. A two-time collegiate concerto competition winner, Justin has appeared as a soloist on both saxophone and oboe. He holds a Master of Music degree in Multiple Woodwinds from the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music (CCM) and a Bachelor of Music in Saxophone Performance from Baylor University.

Dr. Kathryn Vetter is the founding clarinetist of the Nu Quinet. Kathryn is a music professor at Five Towns College and Mannes Prep–The New School and was the Spring 2022 Visiting Clarinet Professor at University of Oklahoma. Kathryn was selected as one of four musicians to perform works by Georges Aperghis at Biennale Musica 2022 in Venice, Italy. In 2018, she won the Contemporary Performance Competition at the Cortona Sessions in Cortona, Italy. Most recently, she has performed at the NYC Electroacoustic Music Festival, the International Clarinet Association’s ClarinetFest in Reno, Nevada, and the Minnesota Fringe Festival. As an orchestral musician, Kathryn has performed with the Painted Sky Opera, Norman Philharmonic, Ohio Light Opera, Oklahoma Festival Ballet, and Juilliard Lab Orchestra. Kathryn regularly performs contemporary music and has premiered over sixty solo and chamber works for clarinet and bass clarinet.

Devin Di Mauro is a low reed specialist who has been an active presence in New York’s commercial music scene for over a decade. His Broadway credits as both a chair holder and substitute include Days of Wine and Roses, Once Upon a Mattress, and Carousel. He has also held a chair in the Christmas Spectacularat Radio City Music Hall for seven seasons. Devin serves as principal bassoonist with the New York Chamber Players and has performed with numerous orchestras throughout the greater metropolitan area. His primary teachers include Ron Jannelli, Krassimir Ivanov, and Phil Pandolfi.

Nick Auer is an accomplished horn player whose dynamic career spans Broadway, symphony orchestras, and chamber music. He currently holds the horn chair for Death Becomes Her on Broadway (2024–2025) and will originate the horn chair for Queen of Versailles in its upcoming Broadway production in October 2025. His previous Broadway work includes performing as a substitute for the 2022 revival of 1776. Nick serves as Principal Horn of the Boston Festival Orchestra and holds the Third Horn chair with both the New Bedford Symphony Orchestra and Vista Philharmonic. He has appeared as Guest Principal Horn with the Atlanta Symphony and performs regularly with the Boston Symphony Orchestra, Kansas City Symphony, Boston Pops, Portland Symphony, and Rhode Island Philharmonic. He has also appeared as Guest Principal with the Boston Pops Esplanade Orchestra and was a Horn Fellow at the Tanglewood Music Center in 2018. A passionate chamber musician, Nick is a frequent guest with the Grammy-nominated ensemble A Far Cry and performs with both the Boston Philharmonic and Odyssey Opera. His artistry has been recognized in major competitions: he won First Prize in the International Horn Symposium Quartet Competition (2016), was a finalist in the Plowman and Fischoff Chamber Music Competitions, and a semi-finalist for Astral Artists. Nick holds a Master of Music degree from the New England Conservatory, where he studied with Gus Sebring, and a Bachelor of Music from The Boston Conservatory, where he studied with Eli Epstein.
