Don’t worry…Off the Record, an evening with Amanda Clement, isn’t your typical concert with a Broadway performer. Monologues accompanied by “three bucks, two bags, one me,” won’t be found here. You will, however, hear personal reflections - mixed with a lot of humor, possibly a few tears, and a whole lot of foul-mouthed confessions - as you listen to her sing the songs that shaped her life. She is no stranger to a good story, a great song, and an even better glass of wine, so come enjoy an evening of getting to know Amanda Clement, but remember…it’s all Off the Record.

Amanda Clement is a multifaceted performer and true triple threat. Born and raised in Rockford, IL, she trained under many of Illinois’ top dance instructors, including Ted Jackson, Homer Bryant, and Watmora Casey. Though she explored a wide range of techniques, she developed a deep proficiency and love for jazz, lyrical, and hip hop. After 10 years of competitive dance with Ted Jackson’s Midwest Movement, Amanda expanded her focus to include singing and acting, discovering that musical theater was the perfect synthesis of her skills. Upon graduating from the University of Illinois, she moved to New York City to pursue her dream. Amanda was soon hired as a singer for Carnival Cruise Lines, followed by her role as Dance Captain and Understudy on the US national tour of Dirty Dancing. In 2018, she joined the global phenomenon Hamilton as an ensemble member, and toured with the Eliza, Angelica, and And Peggy companies until her return to New York City in 2023. Eager to deepen her creative autonomy, Amanda became involved in developing new musicals, participating in several workshops and readings. She was invited to assist award-winning choreographer Raja Feather Kelly on the critically acclaimed Off-Broadway Musical TEETH at Playwrights Horizons, later joining the cast as an Understudy. In 2024, she made her Broadway debut in the original Broadway company of Tammy Faye, composed by Sir Elton John. Amanda’s training and career give her a distinctive perspective, not only as a performer, but also as a mentor and teacher. Drawing from her experience both onstage and behind the creative table, she supports aspiring artists with insight, empathy, and practical tools. Beyond her artistry, Amanda is deeply committed to self-care, rest, active recovery, grounding practices, and cultivating a strong mind-body connection. She shares this holistic approach through offerings rooted in Human Design and Reiki, supporting others in aligning with their creative path in a sustainable, fulfilling way.
